Tried using 6 stacked 1mm sheets of dental wax to make a “paint mold”. Wax worked much better even though it was harder to work with and cut. The acrylic paint was still too thin and takes too many layers to make even the thinnest raised shape. At least 3-4 layers with at least a week of drying time apiece.
